At his clinic Dr. Page and his associates taught their clients how to eat a variety of wonderful, colorful vegetables and other food by dividing the health-building foods into 7 colorful lists. Try this healthy cookies recipe for your family. Even though these are a “sweet treat”, they have some redeeming nutritional value. The coconut shreds and oil contain nutrients, like lauric acid and myristic acid, that help fight unfriendly bacteria, virus, fungi and yeast germs. ½ cup organic coconut oil
¼ cup organic raw cacao powder
½ teaspoon lecithin
1 tablespoon local raw honey
½ teaspoon white stevia powder

Chai Tea
Smells great! Tastes great! And it’s a healthy beverage!
2 quarts boiling water
handful cardamon seeds
handful cinnamon chips (3sticks)
4 slices fresh ginger
6-8 whole peppercorns
6-10 cloves
2 Tablespoons dry stevia leaves (optional)
Simmer on low for several days (makes the house smell great). Keep adding water as needed. Keeps getting better tasting as it simmers. Start a new batch when it gets too weak. You will love this healthy drink.

How’s your post-holiday mood? I found myself with a bit of a negative mood after the holidays. And I knew why and how to turn it around. Do you?
Two main things helped me:
Good food
Good exercise
Yep, food and mood can go hand in hand by affecting your mind and your emotions positively or negatively. During the holiday feasts we tend to eat more of those foods that have:

1. Sweets
2. Gluten – in wheat, white flour products
3. Processed food

So the time is growing closer for our big Christmas celebration.
