Simple Colon Cleanse
Take This First Step in Getting Rid of Your Toxic Waste Dump!
Colon cleansing should always be the first step in anybody’s detoxification process.
Don’t worry. It only takes a few minutes per day and you will not be running to the bathroom.
First and foremost start your bowel cleansing (colon cleansing) by eating a diet that is high in vegetable fiber. However, a high fiber diet may never totally rid your body of this accumulation of toxic substances on the intestinal wall. You will want to add the other bowel cleansing steps to be a cleaner, leaner you.
Here’s the goal of your cleansing program:
Try to have two to three bowel movements per day. These bowel movements should be formed, but should be flaky and fall apart when the toilet is flushed. Therefore, you will need to modify the supplements listed below to achieve this type of bowel movement.
If you have trouble adjusting the amount of each supplement you take, order A Cleaner, Leaner You – The No Hassle Bowel Cleanse. Reading this e-book is like having me right by your side coaching you through any challenges to the cleansing process.
Because of the volume of water you must drink with the psyllium (or other fiber) and Bentonite, take the bowel cleansing ingredients at least 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. You may also want to take it several hours before bedtime so you are not awakened in the night by a full bladder. A good schedule could be: first dose as soon as you get up and second dose about 3 or 4 p.m.
If you have never done a bowel cleanse, then you should continue the following program for 2 months. As a periodic “clean sweep” of the intestines, restart this bowel cleanse program for three to four weeks two to three times per year.
Start you cleanse in this order:
1. Magnesium:
You must have at least one bowel movement, and preferably 3 bowel movements, a day to keep the toxins moving out of your body. Sometimes when you first start taking fiber and Bentonite the mummified material on the intestinal wall rehydrates and thus enlarges. That may cause your bowels to be sluggish. If you don’t get them moving your colon will reabsorb toxins, making you feel sluggish and bloated.
If you take enough magnesium your bowels will move. In fact if you take too much you will have diarrhea. So you have to find the right balance. Experiment with the amount of magnesium you need to take to get rid of constipation woes.
Start with one capsule of magnesium morning and evening if your bowels are sluggish. If that doesn’t get them moving, take more.
The lady who got the prize for the most amount of magnesium needed to make her lazy colon work took 58 pills in one day! Fortunately she was able to taper down after that.
If you start having diarrhea, you know what to do, cut down on the amount of magnesium you are taking.
Some toxins mobilized out of the deep tissues of the body will tend to cause constipation and some may tend to cause diarrhea or loose stools. As you go through the whole detoxification process, you will need to adjust your magnesium dose up or down depending on the response of your bowel.
2. Fiber:
(You may need to use a fiber other than psyllium. If so substitute it at each place you read “psyllium”.)
Psyllium capsules – After three days of regulating your bowel movements with magnesium, add 4 capsules of *psyllium in the evening with two full 8oz glasses of water in order to moisturize the psyllium. Psyllium is a bulking agent that cleanses the bowel and will pick up all the old mucoid material that loosens from the sides of the colon. Next, add 4 capsules of psyllium in the morning and gradually increase as needed until you are taking 8 capsules in the a.m. and 8 capsules in the p.m. Increase your intake of water as well.
Psyllium may constipate you at first because it’s loosening the thick material from the intestinal walls as described above. If you do get constipated, then stop the psyllium and increase the magnesium until your bowels are moving well again. When you restart the psyllium, only take 2 capsules initially and then work up to four twice per day. Ultimately psyllium will keep your bowel movements regular since it is fiber and holds water in the bowel, making it easier to pass the bowel movement.
If you are allergic to wheat or other grass family foods, you may be allergic to psyllium. If so, substitute *guar gum for your fiber. See source below.
If you are allergy-free, you may want to use a mixed fiber product. See below.
3. Bentonite:
After you have adjusted to the psyllium for three days, add bentonite, which is a clay that adsorbs toxins and helps lift the old mucoid matter off the sides of the intestines. You may mix one tablespoon in water or take it by itself, followed by water. Take 1 tablespoon morning and evening.
Continue magnesium and psyllium (or other fiber) until the bentonite is finished. (Bentonite alone can be constipating.)
4. Normal bowel flora (bacteria, also known as probiotics):
After three days on magnesium, psyllium and bentonite, start the normal bowel flora, such as acidophilus and bifidus. Take one daily or as directed on bottle for at least 2 months. If you have ever had an overgrowth of Candida or other unfriendly organisms or have taken antibiotics, continue normal bowel flora for 9 to 12 months.
OPTIONAL
5. Castor Oil packs:
Castor oil packs help loosen the old toxic material in the lymphatic system. Rub castor oil all over the abdomen. Place a piece of felt over the abdomen. Cover the felt with a piece of plastic. Then place a hot water bottle on the abdomen for 1 or 2 hours daily for approximately two weeks.
Or saturate a piece of flannel with castor oil, place on abdomen and follow rest of instructions above. The saturated flannel can be re-used if stored in a plastic bag in the freezer to prevent rancidity.
6. Epsom salts bath:
Fill the tub half full of water as hot as you can stand it and add 2 cups of Epsom salts. Soak in this for 14 minutes and massage the colon from the right to left during this time.
7. Skin brushing:
Brushing your skin will also help cleanse the lymphatic system. Get a natural fiber skin brush or loofa sponge. You may brush with a dry skin brush before you get in the shower or after you get it wet and soapy. Always brush from the feet up towards the lower abdomen. Use straight strokes, about four strokes to each skin surface. You may do this daily.

If you do not mind ordering from another company, the very best probiotic is HMF Intensive (or HMF Forte if you tolerate the FOS in it). Because it is a human strain of acidophilus and bifidus, it will become established in the gastrointestinal tract. Eventually you will not have to keep taking it because it renews itself as long as you eat healthfully, include fiber filled foods and avoid antibiotics. Also, it’s so potent, you only have to take 1 pill per day after the initial intensive phase. After taking it for 4 to 6 months, you may not need any more supplementation. Non-human strains are effective as they go through the digestive tract, but probably are unable to establish and reproduce there. So, you have to keep taking them indefinitely.
Search the Internet for a source of HMF Intensive.
