What's in Your Vaccine?

It’s that time of year – all the pitches going around about getting your flu shot.


The ads make it sound like a wonderful thing to do.


But have you really looked at the research on flu shots? Two of my favorite doctors have and they bring up some questions well worth considering.


In the world of alternative medicine practitioners Dr. Tenpenny stands out as the expert physician on vaccines. Her phenomenal research and study of vaccines is well worth investigating.


So let’s take look at a few excerpts from her recent article in regard to flu vaccines entitled A Heretic’s View of Influenza’s Role in Health and Disease:

As contrary as it seems, germs are attracted to the diseased tissues; they are not the primary cause of it. A quote from Dr. Rudolph Virchow, the Father of Modern Pathology, supports this idea: “If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat—diseased tissue—rather than being the cause of dead tissue. In other words, mosquitoes seek the stagnant water, but do not cause the pool to become stagnant.” The symptoms of the flu or pneumonia—fever, chills, cough, and excess mucous production—are actually secondary illnesses; the first “illness” was loss of health in the underlying tissues.

Bernard’s view is that disease is an “inside-out job,” meaning that when the body is disrupted by today’s toxicities—vaccines, chemicals, heavy metals, processed food, preservatives, fluoride, etc. – disease occurs. These molecules create a cellular shift toward an acidic state. When cells become acidic, pathogens find a favorable environment to replicate…

Supporting the body through this elimination process with homeopathy, herbs, and Chinese medicine – instead of suppressing the symptoms with Western medicine’s tools – may be a key to long-term health and longevity. From this perspective, instead of being the problem, viruses may be part of the solution, the “clean-up crew.” It should be noted that the human race evolved because of its relationship to microbes, not in spite of it.

Obviously, this is a novel way of viewing pathogens and the infectious process…

Makes you stop and think doesn’t it?


And that’s the whole point. Dig deeper, find out more about the flu vaccine before blithely believing all the media hype about getting your vaccine.


Remember that vaccines are big business looking for big dollars. Make your choice from a basis of knowledge.

At the beginning of this year I posted articles summarizing some of the pertinent information to consider in regard to flu shots. You might like to review them.


Personally I do not have flu vaccines injected into my precious body. I prefer to keep the “terrain of my tissues” so healthy that no virus could possibly set up camp. Do I occasionally get a viral illness? Yes, but rarely and then I choose to support my body with rest, fluids and supplements that build my immune system’s ability to fight off the invaders.


You must make your own decision about the flu vaccine, but please base your decision on well-rounded knowledge of the research available. Should you decide not to take the flu vaccine, then keep your tissues healthy!

Hello Dr. Jo: I’ve heard and read about keeping your body in a non-acidic state, but I’m not quite sure how to go about this. How do you test to find out if your body is out of balance in this regard, and what things can we do to keep our bodies from becoming “acidic?” Thanks for all you do for us “mavericks!”

Hi Sherry,
Here’s a short answer to your question from Dr.Leigh Erin Connealy, MD’s article in the Townsend Letter:
“If you’ve been eating the standard American diet (SAD) of processed, packaged, and fast foods, there’s a good chance that you are acidic. It’s easy to check. Simply purchase a packet of pH strips at any pharmacy and test your urine. Ideally, your test score should be slightly alkaline, between 7.2 and 7.4. Anything below that is considered acidic, while test results above 7.4 indicates alkalinity. If your test shows that you are too acidic, simply add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Nearly all vegetables are alkaline, so eating more fresh, organic produce is an easy, nutritious way to stop the cancer cascade from continuing.”
