Easy Daily Cleansing for Osteoporosis


So we’ve shared the starting steps of detoxification for osteoporosis in Get the Lead Out of Your Bones.


Now let’s take a look at the ongoing daily supplements needed for constantly nudging that lead and other toxins out of your bones and other tissues.


Remember, don’t cave in to that overwhelmed feeling. We’re just taking one do-able step at a time. You need more time to work with the bowel, liver and kidney cleanse. Simply review this information so you know where you will be going next on this journey through cleansing. Then come back to it in 4 to 6 weeks when you’re ready to implement it.


In guiding a lot of patients through detox I found that almost everyone needed the following daily supplements in their cleansing processes. Besides cleansing, they also provide valuable nutritional support to your body.


1. Multiple Vitamin and Mineral – preferably food source

2. Chlorella – fractured cell membrane absorbs toxins, both heavy metals and chemicals

How much you need to eat varies from person to person. To be extra cautious start with one Chlorella per day because Chlorella may actually start mobilizing toxins and that can sometimes cause symptoms of nausea, pain, diarrhea or constipation.


Then increase to two Chlorella twice per day. When detoxification is progressing well most people have to take at least four chlorella twice a day.


Chlorella comes in various forms and sizes including tablets, powder and capsules. Therefore you need to adjust the number you take according to the size you buy. The above recommendations are based on the Nature’s Balance chlorella capsules which contain 335 mg each.


Sun chlorella comes as a small tablet that contains 200 or 500 mg per tablet.

Take Chlorella at a different time of day than other minerals like calcium and multi-vitamins

3. Activated charcoal – substitute for chlorella. Usual dosage of activated charcoal is one teaspoon taken with at least 8 ounces of water one to three times per day.

Often turns the bowel movement black.


4. MSM – contains sulfhydryl groups that also bind toxins and helps excrete them through the kidneys and keeps the kidneys cleansed.

Sulfhydryl groups are normally found in fresh fruits and vegetables but dissipates with storage

Normally abundant in the connective tissue and nervous tissue

Mercury loves to collect in nervous tissues when sulfhydryl are missing

5. Glyconutrients  – containing the 8 essential monosaccharides are essential for cellular communication, we only eat 2 of the alphabet, need all 8 for proper cell communication



6. Electrolytes – In the detoxification process cells utilize a lot of sodium, potassium, magnesium, chloride, and bicarbonate which may lead to deficiency of these important electrolytes.


Symptoms of electrolyte deficiency include inability to sweat easily, cravings for salt, easily fatigued, or intolerance to heat


Most sports drinks are not a good source of electrolytes. They contain sweeteners and may not have balanced minerals.


Use an electrolyte solution that contains a balanced solution of sodium, magnesium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate. The best balanced electrolyte solution that I have found is called E-lyte because its balance of electrolytes is similar to the fluids that bathe our cells.


Most people need 1 to 2 teaspoons of electrolytes diluted in 8 ounces of pure water twice per day. If they do not sweat easily or if this diluted solution does not taste salty, then they may need to increase the amount of daily electrolyte solution.


Please note: be sure to dilute the electrolytes in water. The concentrate is far too strong for your tissues and will draw the fluid out of them.

7. Probiotics – also known as normal friendly organisms, help crowd out the unfriendly organisms. HMF Forte contains human strains of Lactobacilli acidophilus and bifidus. These human strains colonize the bowel more efficiently than most acidophilus products.


Take 2 per day for the first few weeks, only one per day is needed for several months.


Keep HMF Forte or any other probiotic refrigerated.


8. Other supplements – The need for supplementing single minerals, such as zinc, chromium, manganese, calcium, etc. must be determined by a health care practitioner who can also determine if other nutrients are needed.


Simply add each of these nutrients one at a time to your daily intake. Wait 3 days before you add the next one. If you have any adverse effects they should manifest in those first 3 days. Then you will know which supplement was the culprit.
