2012 Tinman Triathlon

The smoke from the forest fires cleared, the sun was shining, the wind was still producing a gorgeous day and beautiful setting for the 30th Tinman Triathlon staged at Lake Siskiyou in Mt. Shasta, California.

The participants came from all ages and walks of life to participate in the almost ½ mile swim, 10 mile bike and 4.5 mile run. From under 10 years old to over 70 (I would guess) they came for fun, frolic and fitness as per the slogan on the lavender T-shirts for all of the participants.

This was my 15th consecutive year to be one of those participants in this annual event held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. I’m still so thankful that my body is healthy and strong enough to cover the distance even though I’m not very fast, coming in with the tail end of the participants, but not last anymore.

Actually I got a “gold” medal placing first in my age group. At my age just showing up and covering the distance usually gets you an award!

This triathlon got me thinking about my first triathlon, the Tinman in 1998. After that event my knee swelled up and remained swollen for several weeks. It wasn’t painful as I recall, just swollen. I realized that the prolonged exercise during the triathlon had pumped a lot of toxins out into the connective tissue (the space between the cells).

It simply took a while for my body to move those toxins the rest of the way out of my body. There are ways to facilitate detoxification, to increase the enzymes and chemical pathways of detoxification.

That’s why I’m excited about the upcoming seminar “Detoxify Your Body – Refuse to Live in a Toxic Waste Dump” to be presented by yours truly.

This will be my first time to teach this information. I’m in the process of preparing the power point slides right now. But I have lived the process of detoxification in my body and I helped hundreds of patients clean up their bodies. I know this stuff; it’s been my life’s work. I am so happy to be able to share these insights with others.

You won’t have heard this information anywhere else. Practical and specific, I will give you lots of tools that you can incorporate into your every day living to clean up your body and keep it clean.

It’s so wonderful to live in a clean body. Chronic pain and disabilities dissipate, energy perks up, mental clarity springs up and life seems so worth living.

My heart’s desire is that you would join us at this seminar.

Blessings,

Dr. Jo
