6 Main Weapons to Prevent Cancer

When we hear the word “cancer” it evokes a fear response and rightly so because of its devastating effects. In America 1 out of 3 people develop cancer and 1 out of 4 people die from it. Cancer kills 3 times more people than AIDS does. And it’s third in the list of the top causes of death of our children ages 1-4 years old. How can that happen?
It happens because we are ignorant and deceived. We keep looking for the “cure” for cancer. Why don’t we instead become knowledgeable and prevent cancer?
We have so many weapons to fight cancer. Let’s use them!
1. Stop eating bad fats and start eating good fats.

Dr. Johanna Budwig, a brilliant cancer researcher and biochemist, discovered that the nucleus of the cell is positively charged and the cell membrane negatively charged to facilitate the entrance of nutrients into the cell and exit of toxins out of the cell. But eating bad fats interfered with the charge on the cell membrane and helped set the cell up to become cancerous.
To repair the malformation in the cell membranes she had people with cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other degenerative diseases eat a combination of flax seed oil to supply the good oils and cottage cheese to supply the good protein to rebuild the cell membranes. 2. Eat your veggies every day
Even the American Cancer Society says that eating 5 servings of vegetables and fruits per day can help prevent up to 80% of cancer. Now that’s a good statistic. Eat a variety of colors of vegetables so you get a variety of anti-oxidants and phytonutrients that neutralize those free radicals that eat holes in your cells.

3. Don’t deplete your body’s enzymes.
Eating too much animal protein and eating it overcooked stresses your production of protein digesting enzymes. Cancer cells develop in most everyone’s bodies. But your protein digesting enzymes digest the protective protein coating off of the cancer cells so your immune system can get to them and kill them.

4. Iodine – be sure that you have enough in your tissues. Most Americans are deficient in iodine.
Cancer rates, especially of the thyroid and breast are reduced with adequate levels of iodine in your tissues. Blood tests don’t work for testing iodine levels, but you can do a very simple test yourself.

5. Be sure you have good blood levels of vitamin D, the most commonly deficient vitamin in Americans.
Professor Joan Lappe found that the lower your vitamin D levels, the higher the risk you have for developing cancer. Increasing vitamin D levels from 31 to 38 ng/ml decreased the development of cancer 60% over the next 4 years of this study.
Breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer have been all been linked to vitamin D deficiency.
6. Exercise
Exercise gets your blood moving so the cells receive better levels of oxygen. Low oxygen tension inside the cell triggers cancer. So move it.
Also, exercise helps your body get rid of the toxins that may induce cancerous changes in the cells.
There you have it. Six simple steps you can take to prevent cancer in your body. One definition of wisdom is applying knowledge with good judgment. So be wise. You are not a victim of cancer. Take responsibility for your health and you can reduce your chances of developing cancer in your body.
