Mount Shasta Tinman Triathlon 2007

The hordes at the starting line.

What a happening. Every year folks of all ages gather at Lake Siskiyou in Mount Shasta, CA for the Tinman Triathlon. A few are serious competitors, but most of us just have a lot of fun participating. Training for the 740 yard swim in the lake, 10 mile mountainous bike ride and 4.5 mile run. Just finishing it is a thrill.

Wow! Glad that swim is over. Trying to swim with other swimmer’s piled all around you is a challenge!

She's off to the races on her bike.

The bike may be the most fun of the 3 triathlon events!
